Intermediate Rent
There are many different housing options available to people looking for affordable housing. Unfortunately, there is often a very long wait for social rented properties from a housing association or council, if you are working why not consider Intermediate Rental properties.
Intermediate rent is an option for people who are not ready to commit to buying a home for various reasons, such as, not having sufficient deposit or poor credit history to enable them to access a mortgage.
On some intermediate rent properties you may purchase the property, but this is at the discretion of the Association.
Who are Intermediate Rental properties aimed at?
This scheme is aimed at people in employment, and/ or those who can pay the rent without financial assistance.
To qualify your net household income should be between £15,000 – £30,000.
The properties are usually new or relatively new, and close to amenities.
